The tube ice machine is composed of tube ice ice maker, liquid reservoir, steam collecting valve, electric control cabinet, various valves and connecting pipes. The main equipment is the tube ice maker. Its main body is a vertical shell-and-tube device. The heat exchange tube runs through the upper and lower tube plates, and there is a water tank at the top and bottom respectively.

During the freezing process, the refrigerant evaporates in the main body and absorbs the heat of water flowing from the upper water tank along the inner wall of the heat exchange tube. The water is frozen into ice and attached to the inner pipe wall. When the ice thickness reaches the requirements, it begins to deice.

At this time, the evaporator shell is filled with hot steam, so that the ice on the inner tube wall falls off, is cut off by the lower rotating ice cutter, and is discharged along the ice outlet.
